Zusammenschluss zum Eigenverbrauch (ZEV)

This is a contractual association of various end consumers in a multi-family dwelling and allows for the shared use and billing of self-generated solar power. ZEV allows property owners to sell solar power at favourable conditions, meaning they do not have to feed it into the grid at a low compensation price.
The PRiOT ZEV Monitor offers the right complete solution for compliant measurement, monitoring and billing of your ZEV system. You receive individualised bills for each consumer and can view your energy production and consumption at any time in the PRiOT dashboard.
The automated switching on and off of the heat pump, boiler and electric charging station for your vehicles optimises your own use of solar power.

Virtueller Zusammenschluss zum Eigenverbrauch (vZEV)

The vZEV is a contractual association of various end consumers of different properties with multi-family or single-family homes. The vZEV thus enables association within an even larger radius.
You receive ready-made statements for the individual consumers in your association. PRiOT-ZEV monitoring measures all electricity flows via the individual and shared meters in the associated buildings. Each meter of the individual energy consumers is connected to the PRiOT measuring device and is thus constantly monitored. This enables a clear and automatic reading of the electricity flows from solar energy and from the electricity grid. Meters belonging to the distribution network operator can also be integrated into the invoicing system via the S-DAT interface.

Lokale Energie-gemeinschaft (LEG)

Local energy communities enable the shared use of locally generated electricity within the same community and grid level. Households, businesses, producers, storage operators and tenants can participate, provided they are all connected to the same grid operator.
The locally produced electricity is first used within the community; any shortfalls are covered by the public grid. This requires smart meters and a local generation capacity of at least 5% of the total connected load. Meters belonging to the distribution network operator can also be integrated into the invoicing system via the S-DAT interface.

Measuring

The measurement of solar power production and energy consumption by consumers is carried out using standard electricity meters.

The measuring device receives the measurement data from the electricity meters via standardised interfaces. All billing-relevant data is queried cyclically.  

Transmission

The measured data can be transmitted either via LAN, which incurs no additional costs, or via mobile communications.

Analysis

The transmitted data is analysed and processed on the PRiOT platform. Production and consumption data, as well as all current meter readings, can be viewed and exported at any time via the dashboard in the monitoring system.

Multiple redundant server locations in Switzerland guarantee data availability and enable compliance with the high requirements for data security and protection. 

Invoice

Invoicing is based on the evaluated meter readings of the individual parties and complies with legal requirements.

The energy consumption of the parties to the ZEV/vZEV/LEG is automatically reported on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, making it easy to invoice. 

Consumption control

In the event of overproduction, devices such as heat pumps, boilers or vehicle charging stations can be activated so that the highest possible level of self-consumption can be achieved. This minimises expensive grid consumption.
